Designed to handle the basic needs of your home or small office, the TS702 Pixma Wireless Photo Printer from Canon has a max resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi with a 350-sheet capacity when utilizing both the front and rear paper trays, and it is compatible with Canon’s high yield XL and XXL ink tanks. Utilizing a hybrid ink system, the printer combines dye ink for rich colors and black pigment ink for sharp text, and auto 2-sided printing is also featured saving up to 50% of your paper usage while minimizing consumable costs.
First print out speeds are impressive with black letter documents taking approximately 10 seconds and color letter documents being created in approximately 8 seconds. Once running at full speed the unit is rated to produce black letter documents at 15 images per minute, and color letter documents at 10 images per minute. Up to 8.5 x 11″ borderless prints are possible as well with 4 x 6″ prints taking approximately 21 seconds.
With the wireless world in mind, and featuring AirPrint technology, you can print directly from a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Mac, and with the Canon Print Inkjet/SELPHY app you can use a compatible iOS or Android device to scan and print documents as well. Ethernet and USB 2.0 connectivity are also available, making the printer compatible in most workplace environments.

Quick and easy setup and works like it should. The best price I could find on a better rated printer. I hope it lasts as long as my i900D did.

Photo and text quality were very good. Fairly quick printing with low noise.

I’ve used Canon printers for 15 years now. This is a good quality printer for the price, and ink is relatively inexpensive. I do a LOT of printing. Would buy this one again.

Difficult to set up wirelessly. After a couple of fruitless hours, I retrieved the usb cable from my old Epson printer (the Canon doesn’t come with a backup cable) and got this one working. But even then, it’s balky and unpredictable. The only reason I haven’t returned it is that it’s the smallest single-function printer B&H had at any price. I don’t have room for one with a larger footprint.

The three stars is because: One, the little display is not back lit And is at a bad angle if the printer is below eye level! Two, the little display is giving scrolling instructions for options and given the difficulty in reading it you will miss something, as it only seems to scroll by twice! They could use the 2 lines to show the whole message. So a bigger display and a backlight. Otherwise it seems fine.

I purchased this printer because of the high Consumer Reports Photo printing quality. Based on my early printing I was not disappointed. However, that good OEM in for the printer should cost more than half the price of the printer seems to me a big minus; but, I accept that and therefore minimize my use of the printer to just those cases where I want an excellent print. Experience with the seller B&H was very good.

After owning a HP 7400 series printer for years, I had to purchase a new printer. I read the reviews on the Canon TS702 and purchased it. This is a great photo printer. Print speed is good, color quality is excellent and it works on virtually any photo paper. Set up was a breeze and it connected to my computer and chromebook without difficulty. I am thrilled with this printer. One caution: You have to use the Canon photo software to print your photos. Otherwise, I couldn’t print anything other than 4 x 6 photos. Once I used the Canon photo software, printing any size photos was easy. I strongly recommend this printer.

I bought this printer almost two years ago in order to print on CD/DVD. It does excellent prints however I now print more pictures than I do CD/DVD. Pictures come out perfectly. I also have to say that I never had any driver issues like others experienced and that a full set of INK cost as much as the printer, well I recommend then to buy a different brand (then you will know how expensive INK really is). A little negative is the display that was mentioned in other reviews due to the fact that it is not lit up. I definitely can recommend this printer although it might no longer be for sale.
