Effectively eliminating the need for stacks of ink cartridges, the PIXMA G6020 Wireless MegaTank All-in-One Inkjet Printer from Canon uses an integrated ink tank system that makes refilling much simpler and provides an astounding 6000 black or 7700 color prints on a single set of fresh ink bottles. Also, this model comes with a full set of inks as well as an extra pair of black ink bottles for getting another 12,000 black prints. The ink reservoirs are easy to see, having been placed at the front of the G6020 so that you can make sure you never run low. That, of course, isn’t everything this wireless-capable all-in-one can do as it packs in impressive printing, scanning, and copying functions as well.
For printing, the G6020 uses a reliable inkjet system with a resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi that will deliver sharp text and vivid images. The system also works quickly, with rated speeds of 13 ipm in black and 6.8 ipm in color. Featuring a 250-sheet input tray and a 100-sheet rear paper tray, the printer is ready to take on your large print jobs. Users can also create borderless photos with ease and work with a variety of standard media sizes from 3.5 x 3.5″ to 8.5 x 14″. Scanning and copying are made possible by the unit’s flatbed scanner featuring an optical resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi for sharp, detailed images. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity in addition to USB 2.0 furthers the potential for the printer by supporting various mobile printing protocols, including Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Mopria, and Canon’s own PRINT app.

I’ve only had the new printer for about a month but it is working flawlessly and was easy to install and fill the ink tanks. I’ve printed all kinds of documents, photos and images and it’s doing a great job.

Setup is fairly straightforward. I had issues air printing to the front cassette tray rather than the rear. You have to select to print to plain paper, not a photo every time I AirPrint. The printer also auto turns off in a short amount of time. There’s probably a setting to change on the back end, but it is close enough that I just turn it on again when I need to print. I have it connected directly with Ethernet so it was been working well.

After about 18 months of very light use my brother and I are both having the same problems with this printer. First the color comes out pinkish than the B&W ink is faded than it doesn’t print at all. Canon should recall this printer and refunded everyone’s money because it’s a complete lemon! B&H should stop selling this printer!!!!!!

I bought this printer because of good reviews, having had a previous Cannon printer that lasted a very long time and the fact that I dot not need to buy expensive cartridges. The set however up was terrible: following all the instructions and videos, I was unable to successfully connect to wifi and my computer. Calling Canon is also a challenge and I was cut off several times without being able to speak to a person. Ones I finally was connected to a human being, it took almost one hour to set the printer up to work with wifi. The display on the printer is impossible to read without holding a flash light to it. The customer representative who helped me was very friendly, patient and understanding and was able to successfully lead me through the process which I would have not been able to do on my own and was very time consuming (almost one hour) It should not have taken this long and be so use unfriendly. The printer itself is quite loud and printing a double sided copy takes a little patience. Overall, so far. I am not thrilled with this purchase. Purchasing from B&H was a rather pleasant experience. I bought the printer online on a Saturday and had to wait until evening, the end of Shabbat, to complete the purchase. I respect and appreciate the companies dedication to their faith and principles, that is so unusual. The printer arrived surprisingly quickly. I would buy from this store again, especially since I try to avoid companies like Amazon, Walmart etc. My view of B&H is very positive, that of Canon is a mixed.

Printing quality was good, but the display and error codes are terrible – and 1 month after the warranty ran out ( 600 pages printed) it stopped printing a color, despite cleaning, deep cleaning, etc.

After 18 months of light use started having problems with the color and than the black ink was coming out faded, now after 2 years doesn’t print anymore only thing that works is the scanner, please B&H or Canon refund my money….

Very good color printer for home use with occasional prints! Can print good photos too. Print quality is great at this price. It is slow (as I expected). So if you don’t print much and don’t need fast printer, this one is perfect.
