The Canon PFI-300 Matte Black Ink Tank is a specially formulated LUCIA PRO ink, designed to be used with the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-300 printer. The ink produces professional quality photos with an expanded color gamut and enhanced black density. The Matte Black ink also provides deeper black levels on fine art paper as well as a wider dark area reproduction range with improved gradation.

This ink is nice, rich, and the colors are a nice long lasting pigment. I print daily and this ink cartridge, which they could come and made bigger for my printer, pro-300, they do seem to last a little while. I do print everyday, not alot, but a few prints daily to keep my ink aggitated that is if I don’t use my photo printer for production. I highly recommend Canon Inks because of the hues and nice saturation mixture the tones produce.

Some reviews for the canon pro 300 printer said the smaller ink cartridges did not last. I printed over 30 8.5 x 11 prints before the black said low. Very happy with the printers ink usage and canon prints are amazing

This ink is the right fit for my printer. The color is sharp and clean going on the paper, no matter which type of media I use. It is great to be able to by the inks in a single pack like this, since some colors get used more than others.

It’s good to have the option to buy all the inks in a single set, even if you use them at different rates, and it saves you a few bucks compared with buying them separately. I can’t compare them to any similar inks, but the results look excellent to me. It’s hard to say how many prints you can get out of one set; something like two to three dozen 13×19 prints, depending on color, quality, margins, paper type, how much you are printing, etc. The Red River Paper website has detailed articles about printing costs.
