I use this ink system on a Canon MG 8220. Along with the 4 other inks. I am overall very satisfied with this system along with Canon papers, and in particular after printing muddy colors with expensive HP ink before the HP printer died (a good thing, in retrospective). Beware about Black & White printing being reddish though.

I rated this product in March of 2011 just to let others know how good this ink was, albeit being short lived and expensive. I will never complain about the high cost of ink for the rest of my life. 8 weeks after I wrote this little review, I was contacted by a major online marketing company, and a short time later I was the proud recipient of a National grand prize of $1,000. They were using a prize gimmick to get more people to write reviews. It was the first time I ever won anything, and it was for the little package of grey ink. Thank You B@H, and Canon. Great products.

These are handy ink sets, but to be complete it needs the 226 Gray cartridge in it as well. When printing color prints, that cartridge depletes before the other color cartridges do.

I must look more closely at printing in general, and black & white printing in particular. I’m very happy with my Canon multifunction printer, the inks have nice colors, but my early attempts at black & white printing came out reddish, despite the 3 black (or grey, I include this one) cartidges in my printer…
