The Canon CLI-226 Cyan Ink Tank is part of the ChromaLife100+ system which combines FINE print head technology with Canon ink and photo paper to print borderless photos that have been tested to last up to 300 years when stored in an archival-quality photo album. There is no protective packaging around the inktanks; they are rattling around loose in the box with the package of paper. I have not yet had occasion to replace the ink tanks with the ones in this box, but in general the CLI-226 inks produce brilliant colors.

Works well on my printer. This one apparently isn’t used all that much as it will last a very long time on the printer. B&H as always gives very good service on office supplies and has the lowest price I have been able to find.

I use CLI-225/226 inks on my two Canon printers for my photo printout. My major concern is reproducing rich monochrome printing. CLI-225/226 inks are very good for monochrome reproduction on Canon papers and CANSON rag papers, with slight adjustment of BLUE on color balance adjustment (in RGB mode)

I shopped around for ink multipacks but the stores treated the multipack pack price like I was buying 3 individual ink packs w/ no price cut! Finally, went to B&H and I see the big price cut I’m looking for! Finally, I can buy a multipack and KNOW I’m paying LESS than if I were to buy each ink separately.
