I don’t understand the Canon Ink packs. They contain four cartridges for a six cartridge system. One has shiny black, and the other has dull black, but none of them contain the grey cartridge. I like to print warm and deep, and I go through more grey cartridges than any other, but they are never included in the ink set kits. This particular kit gives you a nice free pack of 50 sheets of glossy thin paper. Its not the best, but fine for snapshots.

The gray tank should also be added to this pack so you do not have to buy separately. Also it would be nice if they had ink ON SALE on occasion.

I use this ink system on a Canon MG 8220. Along with the 4 other inks. I am overall very satisfied with this system along with Canon papers, and in particular after printing muddy colors with expensive HP ink before the HP printer died (a good thing, in retrospective). Beware about Black & White printing being reddish though.

Not a lot to say except that if you own a Canon printer and want prints that pop with color you need to bite the bullet and buy Canon ink. I got tired of the (relatively) high price and started using cheaper knock-offs. Thought something had gone wrong with my printer. Went back to Canon ink and now all is good. I’m just a little more deliberate about what I print. And, all things considered, B&H prices are on par or cheaper than most other places. The free paper is just a lttle extra gimme – prints for Grandma’s fridge, etc.

I am very satisfied with the professional photo copying and the regular document quality. The only downfall is that the ink cartridges have to be replaced every 3 months, even when I use the standard setting on my Canon Pixma MX882.
