I got this paper with the purchase of a Canon Pro-100. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the results. I get nice, rich results and the prints are more durable than with some of the premium papers I have tried. My only real complaint would be that the paper just feels a little flimsy. I prefer heavier weight paper. For the price though, I shouldn’t complain. This is$ (at the time of this review) for a box of 50 sheets versus $ for my favorite paper.

This is the perfect paper for printing on a Pixma PRO-100 printer. Its also a wonderful paper for printing professional, gallery-quality images. It has the same weight/feel as prints generated by the big professional printhouses, but with the added convenience of being able to print on my own schedule and not have to wait for delivery. I especially like the Luster finish as it is a nice blend between glossy and matte… and when framed behind glass, it does not stick to the glass as glossy finishes tend to do. Thanks to B&H for fast shipping (and for packaging this so carefully so that the corners dont get ruined).

This paper is wonderful for printing large (13 x 19) images for framing. I use it with the Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer and love the results I get with this combination.

I use this for colorful signs and photos. This is the first time I’ve used luster instead of glossy and I’m not sure which I prefer yet. I haven’t had any of this in sunlight for very long so I don’t know how well it will hold up.

I am new to printing and sticking to Canon paper and inks if at all possible. This paper came with the printer as a package. It is sharp, rich and wonderful for possibly portraits but I dont care for the finish for fine art or landscapes. It is not a smooth surface but more of a finish you might consider for prints that will be handled. I may purchase a sample of paper or do some research before I buy more paper.

I’ve tried many brands of 100% cotton, fine art papers. I do my own printing and for my professional portrait work I keep coming back to Pro Luster as a favorite. The skin tones are natural, tonal transition is smooth, colors have just enough saturation and the contrast adds just the right amount of brightness. A very flattering paper for any portrait. I also find it perfect monochrome or black & white prints. The smoothness of transition in tones is better than many of the fine art cotton papers I’ve tried. The detail and sharpness are excellent. The two papers I rely on and use the most are Pro Luster and Canon Pro Premium Matte. My customers are always pleased and I often get the wow response when they see their prints on these papers. Pro Luster is one you can count on for just about every subject matter. It will not let you down.

Got a bunch of different Canon paper to compare. This seemed to hold the same amount of color / contrast as the best of them. The only real difference I saw was the shine. It was similar to semi-gloss, but had a speckling in it as well. I really liked this and thought is gave it something special. It also seemed to hide scratches better than semi gloss, if you happen to be handling this a lot.

The 17×22 prints off my Canon Pro 1000 printer have received rave reviews. Happy to have the choice between Luster & Matte to presents to clients.

My go to Canon Paper.

I bought this paper to print exclusively Black and White images on my Canon Pixma PRO9500 Mk II. Canon Photo Paper Pro luster delivers a very near classic development photo paper, just beware to use the correct profile before printing, Canon gives advice on what profile should be used if your printer doesn’t have it in it’s driver. I should note that I am really impressed with the quality of this paper and the printing quality it delivers.

I have only used this paper with the Canon Pixma Pro-100. It produces good vibrant color and offers fairly sharp images. A bit sharper than I see with the rag papers The texture reminds me of photographic resin paper. The profile I downloaded from canon seemed just a tad bit dark but not to far off. I did not give it 5 stars because I haven’t had a chance to review printed images after they have aged for a few years.

This print paper is the prefect companion for the PIXMA Pro-1. The PIXMA ICC for the paper produces excellent images.

This is the first time I printed on canon paper. My epson 3880 with inkowl inks set for the P800 worked perfectly after creating an .icc profile for this paper+ink set. Thanks to epson for not letting B&H selling their products to canadians, it gives me a chance to buy from their competitor, a thing that I would not have done buying 75% of the time epson papers.
