With a soft luster finish, this Photo Paper Pro Luster from Canon, available here as a 50-pack of 8.5 x 11″ sheets, will provide a slightly textured surface that resists both glare and fingerprints while offering great color saturation and contrast. The paper also benefits from a moderate basis weight of 255 gsm and a thickness of 10.2 mil, as well as a brightness of 92%.

This paper is everything you would expect from Canon. I printed out an 8×10 on my Canon Pixma Pro 100 and ordered the same 8×10 from a popular online printer and gave them both to my client and asked them to pick out the best one. The picked the one I printed saying the paper was thicker and the colors were brighter. I’ve been printing my own ever since and have had no complaints.

Luster is my favorite paper. It is similar to semi-gloss with a less texture. Excellent paper.

I got this paper for free with my Pixma Pro-100. I normally use Red River Papers and will in the future stick with them. While the prints that come out with this paper aren’t bad or anything, they just don’t have the vibrancy and saturation that I personally like to see for the work I do. The RRP papers are much more vibrant and their comparably priced papers are heavier stock, as well. I never really like the Canon brand papers so it doesn’t surprise me… but that is my personal experience. It’s cool that I got to try it out though. Thanks!

Never used luster before, but after trying it, I am very pleased and satisfied with it’s performance. Wow, very rich detail and color without any glare yet it has a certain sheen, almost a 3D look giving lots of depth to any photo. Highly recommended.
