I purchased this paper to run though my Canon Pixma Pro-100 Photo Printer. I’m glad I did as the pictures come out better than I ever dreamed. These sheets are slightly bigger than A3 paper size, which allows for the extra margin if you need it (for full A3 prints).

printing on a canon pro-100. I’ve only had the printer and paper for a week or so…but the quality is outstanding. I like the luster finish for this size paper. the printer came with software called print studio pro (plugin for photoshop, lightroom etc)..it has a feature named pattern print…where it automatically creates thumbnails you can print, with a variety of CMY combinations… yes, I use ICC profiles…but for fine tuning, this is a huge timesaver and works well with this paper if you have a critical print.

Printer: Canon PIXMA PRO-100 Ink: Canon OEM Software: Lightroom 6.8 I’ve been printing photos with my own printer for a month and this was the first photo paper I’ve experienced. Over the course of that month I have printed this Canon Luster paper, Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II and Canon Photo Paper Pro Matte. I wanted to see the difference between all three papers so I printed the same photo from Lightroom to each paper type. The results were exactly as you would expect. However, when I showed off the photos at a family party the unanimous favorite was the Luster paper. I asked why and the consensus was the Matte photo didn’t look or feel like a photo when held. Glossy was considered too reflective by almost everyone. I myself prefer the Matte photos but I’ve come away impressed with the results this paper delivers. If you like to give copies of your photos to friends or family this is the finish everyone expects and the image quality is exceptional.

Photo Paper Pro Luster is perfect for portraits because of the luster finish, which reduces glare. The paper has a nice weight and thickness for a professional feel. To achieve accurate color you must use a color management workflow and a color profile. Canon paper profiles are available on line. Read a much as you can about proper color management setting for your printer. The 50 sheet box makes more sense than the older 20 sheet boxes saving time and money.

I use a Canon Pro 100 with genuine Canon inks. This paper is my go to paper for customer prints and very my personal work. It has the traditional look from the days when people actually had prints of their photographs versus viewing them on their iPhones. It works well for both color and black and white photographs. The paper has a great feel and weight and is a bright white which provides accurate color renditions.

I have used many brands of digital ink jet papers over my photographic career and find overall that this paper and it’s luster surface is by far my favorite for my large landscape images especially at the price B & H Photos sells it! Frank Lukovits Photography

This is my second box of this paper, which I use in a Canon PIXMA PRO-100 printer. The results are consistently very good and I like the silky surface of the Luster version of this paper. It gives better depth to the blacks than the matte version, and less distracting reflections than the glossy version.

I use it to sell my art at fairs. The title says it all.

This paper is spectacular. I received a trial pack of 8.5 x 11 of this paper with my printer and used it to print family photos for my mother-in-law. Gorgeous! The texture and finish of this paper made my pictures stand out beautifully. Love it.

Prints well and looks great

This paper results in nice quality prints. Some other papers, e.g. Canson Baryta produce slightly better tonal gradation in shadow and highlights and deeper blacks, but at considerably higher cost. Using with Canon Pixma Pro 100.

Although I isually use Epson paper, this came with the 5d 3 bundle I got. So far I have liked the product. I think it wouldn’t have made much of a difference whether I used epson or canon, what I like most is just how big it is compared to 8×10.
