With a soft luster finish, this Photo Paper Pro Luster from Canon, available here as a 50-pack of 8.5 x 11″ sheets, will provide a slightly textured surface that resists both glare and fingerprints while offering great color saturation and contrast. The paper also benefits from a moderate basis weight of 255 gsm and a thickness of 10.2 mil, as well as a brightness of 92%.

The Canon Luster paper is probably my favorite of their pro papers. Feels and looks just like a labs paper. The only downside is that theres no Canon watermark on the back like their semi-gloss. Just would have been nice to have that authentic feeling, especially when selling prints.

What I have found it that it produces consistent, excellent results over the past three years! I occasionally with use other brands and finishes, but whether for my own sample to be hung on my studio walls or for clients, the Canon Pro Luster is our go-to paper of choice. PS. If you ever want to blow a clients mind, bring your printer for on-site proofing. The quality this provides is stunning!

I use this paper with my Canon Pixma Pro 100 and have been getting awesome results. The Luster finish has a fine sheen without being a full-on mat finish. No loss of detail, prints are sharp without being glossy.

This pack, 50 sheets of Luster photo paper was included with purchase of Canon Pixima Pro-10 printer, it was required for the $250. rebate ($200 without the paper – so the paper is free!). I wouldn’t have necessarily bought this paper, usually just use glossy, but this paper is very nice. Much closer to gloss than matte. Overall i’m Very satisfied with this purchase.
