With a soft luster finish, this Photo Paper Pro Luster from Canon, available here as a 50-pack of 8.5 x 11″ sheets, will provide a slightly textured surface that resists both glare and fingerprints while offering great color saturation and contrast. The paper also benefits from a moderate basis weight of 255 gsm and a thickness of 10.2 mil, as well as a brightness of 92%.

If you have been printing your photos on photo glossy paper, now is the time to try Canon’s Pro Luster paper. After I attended a lecture on the various types of photo papers (at my Photo Club), I became inspired to try different photo paper surface types. I have always had a preference for Canon Photo papers. They are the best. I went onto B&H’s website and came across Canon’s Pro Luster paper. When a photo emerged from my printer on this paper I was blown away! Digital photos look great on a laptop screen, but wow do they look great printed on this Canon paper. The photos here were shot on a Canon 5D Mark IV.

Having just purchased the Canon Pro 200 printer I decided to try the Canon Luster Pro paper. I downloaded the printer profiles and the very first 13×19 print was excellent. It matched my calibrated computer screen almost perfectly. I have since printed 5 more landscapes and they are all great. Very pleased with the Canon paper. The 50 sheet 13×19 size was on sale for 50 percent off at $49.95. I’m not sure I would buy it at full cost as I can get Red River papers for less.

This paper is not as good as what I’ve been using for years. I ordered Canon paper this time because I use a Canon printer along with Canon ink.This paper is not as thick nor does the ink dry on this paper as fast.

This paper is very comparable to Fuji Crystal Archive or Kodak Endura. It’s heavy paper, a little heavier than the Fuji and Kodak. I use this for making borderless 8x10s and for printing 5x7s since I can get two per sheet.

This is my first time using photo paper as I just purchased my first printer. I purchased the Canon Pro Luster based on the great reviews it has received. I have not used any other paper but from what I see so far I am impressed with the Canon Pro Luster as the colors are vibrant and sharp.
