With a soft luster finish, this Photo Paper Pro Luster from Canon, available here as a 50-pack of 13 x 19″ sheets, will provide a slightly textured surface that resists both glare and fingerprints while offering great color saturation and contrast. The paper also benefits from a moderate basis weight of 255 gsm and a thickness of 10.2 mil, as well as a brightness of 92%.

There are many nice Luster papers out there but the sample pack of the Pro Luster included with my Pro-100 Printer blew me away. The results in both color and b/w were surprisingly outstanding. Lab quality. Like it better than the Semi-Gloss which also came with the printer – especially for b/w. On sale, it’s a no brainer. Though Epson’s Exhibition Fiber remains my absolute go to for portrait work, Canon’s Pro Luster is superb for just about everything.

I’ve tried most of the Canon Photo Papers for my Pixma printer and have finally settled on this. I think it gives the best quality and sheen for my wildlife photos. it took a little to get Lightroom CC Classic dialed in for brightness and color. But once this was done, it’s stable and I’m extremely happy with the results.

I use this paper for nearly all my photos, never had any problems with any inconsistency. I no longer use glass in my frames, I like being able to see the great finish of the paper.

Got a bunch of different Canon paper to compare. This seemed to hold the same amount of color / contrast as the best of them. The only real difference I saw was the shine. It was similar to semi-gloss, but had a speckling in it as well. I really liked this and thought is gave it something special. It also seemed to hide scratches better than semi gloss, if you happen to be handling this a lot.
