With a soft luster finish, this Photo Paper Pro Luster from Canon, available here as a 25-pack of 17 x 22″ sheets, will provide a slightly textured surface that resists both glare and fingerprints while offering great color saturation and contrast. The paper also benefits from a moderate basis weight of 255 gsm and a thickness of 10.2 mil, as well as a brightness of 92%.

I’ve tried most of the Canon Photo Papers for my Pixma printer and have finally settled on this. I think it gives the best quality and sheen for my wildlife photos. it took a little to get Lightroom CC Classic dialed in for brightness and color. But once this was done, it’s stable and I’m extremely happy with the results.

It’s surprising how good this paper is. Maybe not for fine art, but for everyday prints or test prints this is great and economical. This has a smooth finish and excellent DMAX, snappy whites, and just the right surface reflection. Works well in Epson printers too…and is much cheaper. Colors look outstanding. After using Epson Luster for years this is my new go-to paper for my students! Basically, equivalent to the Epson Luster but with less texture. Oh yes–it absorbs much less ink than a matte paper, so if that’s a consideration, use this!

This paper is cheap and not bad. I use it to make sure I have my photos set up as well as for draft prints before turning to my CANSON paper. Truth be told, it’s a pretty nice paper and I’ve made some nice copies for general use. GREAT VALUE.

If you have been printing your photos on photo glossy paper, now is the time to try Canon’s Pro Luster paper. After I attended a lecture on the various types of photo papers (at my Photo Club), I became inspired to try different photo paper surface types. I have always had a preference for Canon Photo papers. They are the best. I went onto B&H’s website and came across Canon’s Pro Luster paper. When a photo emerged from my printer on this paper I was blown away! Digital photos look great on a laptop screen, but wow do they look great printed on this Canon paper. The photos here were shot on a Canon 5D Mark IV.
