With a soft luster finish, this Photo Paper Pro Luster from Canon, available here as a 25-pack of 17 x 22″ sheets, will provide a slightly textured surface that resists both glare and fingerprints while offering great color saturation and contrast. Got a bunch of different Canon paper to compare. This seemed to hold the same amount of color / contrast as the best of them. The only real difference I saw was the shine. It was similar to semi-gloss, but had a speckling in it as well. I really liked this and thought is gave it something special. It also seemed to hide scratches better than semi gloss, if you happen to be handling this a lot.

I have been using Moab Lasal Exhibition Luster 300 for my Black and white prints, and decided to try the Canon Pro Luster. What a surprise! I like the Black and white prints on the Pro Luster as much as the ones on the Lasal paper. The price makes it more attactive.

I did step by step, everything to get the rebate, even I took pictures of everything and I send the originals and the pictures to prevent this was not received. They came up with the old story of UPC was not received. Still fighting with them about it. No buying Canon again.

Originally I received a box of this with the purchase of the Canon Pixma Pro-10, and thinking once it was used up, I would go on to use only other brands of artisan papers. What I have found it that it produces consistent, excellent results over the past three years! I occasionally with use other brands and finishes, but whether for my own sample to be hung on my studio walls or for clients, the Canon Pro Luster is our go-to paper of choice. PS. If you ever want to blow a clients mind, bring your printer for on-site proofing. The quality this provides is stunning!
