With a soft luster finish, this Photo Paper Pro Luster from Canon, available here as a 25-pack of 17 x 22″ sheets, will provide a slightly textured surface that resists both glare and fingerprints while offering great color saturation and contrast. The paper also benefits from a moderate basis weight of 255 gsm and a thickness of 10.2 mil, as well as a brightness of 92%.

Great Value. Feeds into machine easily. Great colors, true colors. Great quality. Use for printing photos I have had on disks for awhile and cheaper than going to a kiosk and much better quality.

This is very good paper… Is it the best paper.. probably not… It could be thicker and it could be cheaper. This would not be my choice unless this paper is on sale. at full price I would go with an heavier paper. That being said it is good paper but I would not use for gallery submissions or high end sales.

I use a Pixma Pro-100 and a Pro-10 for my prints. Canon’s Pro Luster is my favorite paper for black & white prints. I also use it for color, when I don’t need the high brilliance of the Platinum Pro. I use Canon’s icc profiles, papers and inks and I’m more than happy with the results I get. No need to say that I use a carefully calibrated photographic monitor, but I didn’t need to do any calibration of the printer as Canon did a very good job with this line of products.

I had typically printed on Canon Premium Matte photo paper for my portraits and landscape prints. With my new Canon printer I got a sample of the Pro Luster photo paper. I printed the same portrait on Premium Matte and Pro Luster photo paper. I decided I liked the color with the Pro Luster. I gave both to my client and they also liked the Pro Luster. I got the 13×19 sheets and have printed several landscape prints and the colors and sharpness was great. I will be switching to using the Pro Luster photo paper almost exclusively in the future.
