With a soft luster finish, this Photo Paper Pro Luster from Canon, available here as a 25-pack of 17 x 22″ sheets, will provide a slightly textured surface that resists both glare and fingerprints while offering great color saturation and contrast. The paper also benefits from a moderate basis weight of 255 gsm and a thickness of 10.2 mil, as well as a brightness of 92%.

This is an excellent choice for a reasonably priced RC inkjet paper. The colors are fabulous, rich and saturated with deep blacks, especially when I print on the new Canon Pro-300. I get matching results on the Epson P7000. It helps get good matches if you do your own paper profiles, especially on the P7000 since I can’t find Canon profiles for Epson printers. Vice versa for Epson papers on Canon printers. I’d like to know where to find them so I can let friends know. Otherwise, I am using the X-Rite i-1 profile system to create my own.

I was not impressed with this product. I tried to go cheap and realized that you get what you pay for. I usually print on Epson paper but tried to economize and take advantage of the great sale price.. Unfortunately, this does not measure up to Epson paper. Colors not as saturated, etc. I’m now only using this for proofs.

I use this paper with my pixma Pro 100. It was included with the printer and I appreciated it’s low luster high detail definition qualities just after first 5 prints. Portraits get this lively tones and low shine. I have tried matte paper and it does not work as portrait media for me. Ordered 50 pack. Shipping took 3 days. Great product.

This is the same paper that Canon ships with the Pixma Pro series printer. I had some other photo paper that was pretty good paper that I tried on my Canon Pixma Pro 10. It raised up when the ink hit it, just enough for the print head carriage to rub and make streaks. The Canon Photo Paper Pro Luster paper stays flat when the ink hits and provides excellent results. The best part was the price!

I initially had low expectations for this paper, as it came free with the purchase of my Canon Pixma printer. I was shocked when I ran my first print and it was absolutely stunning vivid colors, nice saturation, sharp image. It’s also pretty tough doesn’t scratch nearly as easily as higher end cotton paper and very reasonably priced. Now it’s one of my go-to paper stocks!

I am relatively new to printing photographs, especially in the larger A3+ format. The ability to try different papers to see how the paper impacts the final product has been very useful. The price (on sale) made trying out this paper an easy choice. I like the luster for certain landscape pictures and for pictures I hang in a very bright part of my house as the glare is less.
