It’s great that B&H offers the color ink pack as an option, because I go through the colors twice as fast as the black and greys. I was beginning to accumulate the greys because I kept buying the full 8 cartridge packs.

Seems droll to review an ink cartridge, but after 18 months of using Canon inks in the Pixma Pro 100, I continue to be amazed at the results, also the reliability of the PP 100. Even after sitting unused for a month or longer it cranks right up, does some internal housekeeping, then proceeds to print exemplary images. With reported problems with pigment printers and with generic ink, I’m happy to pay a bit more for brand name ink.

Been using Canon Pro100 for several years. Good prints, reasonable ink costs. On the plus side, I have let my machine sit unused for well over a year and it started right up without excessive cleaning. A lot goes into accurate color and archival performance. I choose to stick with the OEM product.
