I have had a Canon Pixma Pro-100 for about two years, and it is an excellent printer. The CLI-42 ink cartridges that are used by the Pro-100 are not inexpensive, but they have always worked well. I recommend the CLI-42 ink and the Pro-100 printer.

Colors are awesome. Have used the compatibles trying to save a buck and have gone thru 2 printers and 2 printheads. I surrender! Besides, this is for Canon’s Pro 100. Not the top of their line but good enough that I don’t want to mess it up. When I bought, others had matched B&H but is there anyone better?

My PIXMA Pro100 printer use CLI-42 inks, 8 of them. Canon sells them individually online with apparently no multi-pack option. Thanks to B&H for offering them in a multi-pack; it saved me both money and time. Canon’s price for individual color tanks was also a bit higher than B&H’s. As usual B&H’s service and quick shipping was appreciated.

Canon PRO-100 printer is my all-time favorite inkjet printer for photo printing and this is the manufacturer’s ink for it. Wouldn’t consider using alternative ink or refilled cartridges. Just wish the ink were a bit less pricy, but B&H’s price at time of purchase was at least as good as any other I found.

I haven’t used any of these yet, but the cartridges that came with my pixma pro-100 are still showing full except for the grey (1/4 down) after about 50-60 4 x 6 prints and a few 8 1/2 x 11’s. The images are amazing

The 8 packs of ink are simply too expensive. (about $125) However, I tried the cheaper inks and they are not as good. The ink runs a little, doesn’t dry properly and is poor quality. So if you care about your pictures, you want the color to be good, and the picture quality to be long lasting, then buy this product. It is excellent.
