   i use the printer mainly for photos and with canon ink and canon paper the result is outstanding.i killed my pro9000 using aftermarket catridges looked identical but did not warn of lo or no ink.result in 2 pages(was printing 3)printer sounded strange turned to look and saw next to no ink,tried to kill print job quik,too late…burned the print head up.new head $$who knows what else.

    Jury is still out, but the quality of my prints is so far ahead of what my other printer can produce. Greens are still difficult to predict, but all other colors are vibrant and true. I read that the ink quantity is low for the price, but haven’t had a tank run out yet. Have had my printer for a month.
