I have had the Canon Pro-100 for a short time. The images are great but the yellow ran out very quickly. I hope it was just one bad cartridge as the other colors are still 3/4 full.

I have tried cheap after market inks in my Pro 100 Prisma, but they are no where near as good as the real deal. Sticking to Canon inks for my Canon printer from now on.

Recently I purchased a Canon Pixma Pro-100 printer and I just love the prints that come off of it. But you have to keep replacing the ink tanks — that’s life in the photo printing world. I have kept an accurate tabulation of ink consumption with my printing of landscape and flower images, normalized to the inked area of an 8.5 x 11 size. To date I have gotten the following such print counts (equivalent) for each color tank: M=88, PC=80, Y=60, BK=80, GY=60, PM=55, LGY=55, C=165+. Different subject matter will consume these color tanks at different rates. One great feature of this printer is that it will stop an active print when a particular tank runs out (and it really has zero ink left!) and you can continue that print once you have replaced the empty ink tank. You don’t loose the print.

Easy to install. I have had no problems with these Canon Inks. Prints excellent color pictures on my Canon Printer.

I’m happy as long as these cartridges are still available so i can use my Pixma Pro-100. they’re a bit expensive, but i like the printer and the inks that go with it. they never seem to clog and the colors are great.

I know some who have dabbled in non-OEM inks for the Pro-100 and, as described and shown to me, the results are, at best, equivalent to Canon’s OEM product but never superior. Unfortunately, non-OEM output is also inconsistent (beware yellow!). In other words, the premium price for OEM ink buys me consistent output. Your milage may vary but I find the extra cost well-worth that peace of mind. And like always, B&H provided fantastic customer service and excellent delivery options (in my case, living in NYC, free delivery the next business day).

I asked the salesman for an all around printer that also creates good photos. I was sold a Canon Pro-100 photo printer, thinking it was a basic desktop model. After discovering it was a higher end photography machine, requiring multiple ink tanks, I was worried about maintenance costs. Thank Goodness I found B&H – lowest possible ink prices!! You saved the day!!

My inks were running low so I placed an order with B&H and had them within 4 days. I quick swap of the new inks for the empty cartridges and I was back in business printing. I get good, clean blacks, and the grays fill in the mid-tones.
