   Canon’s dye ink is the reason I stick with Canon, rather than switching to the highly rated Epson photo printers. The printers may be similar cost, but the Epson pigment inks are inexcusably expensive.

   Canon’s genuine cartridge garantees the quality, however the quantity is just a typical rip-off. Drains out too fast for around 50-80 pictures. Find a compatible brand will be better for some heavy user.

   I don’t know why Canon and other manufaturers don’t make larger tanks for black and yellow! And machines to take them! I have a Canon Pro 100 and these inks really do the business. It’s been years since I have used anything but individual inks, as there is so much waste in a single tank with multiple colours. These Canon inks are fabulous, and there’s little to no fade that I can see. I have prints framed in my home and studio, in sunny places and they look as good as they did when I first hung them. And I like getting them from B&H!

   I’d love to give this a higher rating, but I have two quibbles with the product. 1) It’s terribly expensive – must cost more than gold. 2) The cartridges do not last very long. That said, I’m very pleased with the quality of the prints.

    I like the fact Canon put time into making an ink that is effectively Archival. It is well suitable for art photography prints. And seperate color cartridges are more cost effective and efficient than one cartridge with all the colors in the one cartridge
