If you have a Canon Pro 100 printer, there is a lot to be said for using Canon ink. However, when you see the price and size of these tanks, you really want to just shake your head. I really didn’t expect them to be even smaller than the ones on desktop Canon printers. Even though they were expensive, B&H had a better price than most of its competitors, and the service was good. So far, I’ve only finished the tanks that came with the printer, and they didn’t last long at all. I’m hoping they weren’t completely full and these will last longer.

Canon ink is always high quality. This set is no exception. Great results using Canon ink in my Canon printer. I was glad to get a much better price with B&H than I’ve paid with other sources; but ink is still pricey no matter where you purchase it. I never look forward to buying the 8 color cartridge set the printer requires. At best, the set is about $ per set and the cartridges just don’t last very long. I guess that’s not new information. But the quality is good and the colors wonderful.

I purchased the ink tank pack after reading reviews on third party ink on various forums and reviews. Having only used the original tanks that came with my canon Pixma pro 100 and loving the vibrant colors it produced I decided to stick with the manufacturer brand.

I know some who have dabbled in non-OEM inks for the Pro-100 and, as described and shown to me, the results are, at best, equivalent to Canon’s OEM product but never superior. Unfortunately, non-OEM output is also inconsistent (beware yellow!). In other words, the premium price for OEM ink buys me consistent output. Your milage may vary but I find the extra cost well-worth that peace of mind. And like always, B&H provided fantastic customer service and excellent delivery options (in my case, living in NYC, free delivery the next business day).

I haven’t used any of these yet, but the cartridges that came with my pixma pro-100 are still showing full except for the grey (1/4 down) after about 50-60 4 x 6 prints and a few 8 1/2 x 11’s. The images are amazing

Jury is still out, but the quality of my prints is so far ahead of what my other printer can produce. Greens are still difficult to predict, but all other colors are vibrant and true. I read that the ink quantity is low for the price, but haven’t had a tank run out yet. Have had my printer for a month.
