I wish inks for Canon printers were not so rigidly price controlled. More price competition would be better. Canon seems to use the idea that they could give the printers away and make a fortune on the ink needed to fill the printer…Polaroid all over again???

I have found the Canon Pro printers, using these inks, to produce outstanding color prints. I have even been able to make prints of images that have extreme colors in them. So far, the prints I have hanging on my wall have held their color well. Most of those prints are 15 years old or more.

I asked the salesman for an all around printer that also creates good photos. I was sold a Canon Pro-100 photo printer, thinking it was a basic desktop model. After discovering it was a higher end photography machine, requiring multiple ink tanks, I was worried about maintenance costs. Thank Goodness I found B&H – lowest possible ink prices!! Good ink for your canon printer. Advise is to stick with the original printer ink, if you use non canon brands there is a noticeable difference in color and quality!
