Of course wish ink was cheaper
Lois Ziemann (verified owner) –
I received the inks in good condition.

Is it super expensive per photo printed? Yes, yes it is, but the image quality with this ink can’t be matched by any third party ink in my Pixma pro 100 printer. I am extremely happy with my 13x19inch print results.

Years ago I tried to save money on off brand ink. The results were terrible. Never tried it again. Only canon ink for me.

Beautiful and vivid color

I have had very good performance with the canon printing system.

In the last 15 or so months, Canon has come up with a combination of dye based inks and an affordable, dependable 13 carriage printer. Canon has demonstrated that there dye based inks are, indeed, archival. There co operation with Canson, Hanemuhla, Red river, Moab and Museo paper manufactures ensure factory, downloadable paper profiles. Dye based inks and a sturdy build give Canon Pro 100 an edged over Epson counter parts in the dependability and paper waste field.

This ink makes nice looking prints, but, like most inkjet inks, is painfully expensive. Too early to tell about archival stability…

once I tried a no name ink. colors were terrible. I can sing the old song about canon ink I only have eyes for you

Canon inks produce really outstanding results with my Pixma Pro 100 printer. Well worth the cost.

I know some who have dabbled in non-OEM inks for the Pro-100 and, as described and shown to me, the results are, at best, equivalent to Canon’s OEM product but never superior. Unfortunately, non-OEM output is also inconsistent (beware yellow!). In other words, the premium price for OEM ink buys me consistent output. Your milage may vary but I find the extra cost well-worth that peace of mind. And like always, B&H provided fantastic customer service and excellent delivery options (in my case, living in NYC, free delivery the next business day).

Once in a while I need the whole shabang! Great inks, and way better than imitation Canon.

These cartridges come at great price and fast delivery.

I stick with the brand inks for my photo printer. My prints are for sale. You just can’t skimp if people are paying for top quality. It is expensive though

Use this with my PRO-100. THey are clean, easy to install and light with colors when installed to show you ink levels and which ones must be replaced. Unlike with HP previous experiences, those cartiges do not get empty after only a few photos. The colors are really great and I recommend for photo printing.

Como no comprarlo si lo ocupo. A diferencia de lo genrico si es mejor el original

What’s to review? It’s an ink cartridge! You unwrap it, stick it in the printer, close the lid, and print.

I’m happy as long as these cartridges are still available so i can use my Pixma Pro-100. they’re a bit expensive, but i like the printer and the inks that go with it. they never seem to clog and the colors are great.

I originally bought the Canon Pixma Pro 100 when it was on special offer. Many reviews, were not positive, but I have found this printer and ink combination really do give great quality images. The key for me is selecting the right paper. I do a lot of black and white photos, so often need to replace the Blacks and grey before other colors. Pros: Intense blacks and great contrast and warmth on Baryta, semi gloss paper. Economy, the inks last well. Cons: like many dye based inks they lose some visual contrast on uncoated cotton art paper. How a printed image strikes the viewer depends on so many variables, My measure is how, I and others respond to the print. I am less interested in discussions about which printer technology is best, and far more interested in how well the final print communicates the photograph. Overall, I really like the striking results I get with this ink, combined with the right paper.

Canon ink is the best ink for true colors renditions especially if you are using Canon printers.
