These run out too fast.

OEM ink. I usually do 13×19 and don’t trust other brands for them.

Had an Epson Surecolor P600 printer. It was awful….clogs all of the time, ink blots, and eventual failure of the printhead that cost more than the printer to fix. Bought the Canon Pixma Pro-100 last year from B and H. Totally reliable, great colors, works perfectly, no long color tubes to fail, great feed system on 13 x 19 paper. A true pleasure to use.

This ink should cost much less. Eco tanks are the future.

In the last 15 or so months, Canon has come up with a combination of dye based inks and an affordable, dependable 13 carriage printer. Canon has demonstrated that there dye based inks are, indeed, archival. There co operation with Canson, Hanemuhla, Red river, Moab and Museo paper manufactures ensure factory, downloadable paper profiles.

It’s not the best printer Canon offers but it’s great for the price. I got it for about $ when it was on discount. Ink works well, too. When I compare with Epson R1900, I have so much less problem with this printer / inks.

My PIXMA Pro100 printer use CLI-42 inks, 8 of them. Canon sells them individually online with apparently no multi-pack option. Thanks to B&H for offering them in a multi-pack; it saved me both money and time. Canon’s price for individual color tanks was also a bit higher than B&H’s. As usual B&H’s service and quick shipping was appreciated.

The ink cartridges are easy to install and you can see the ink level In each cartridge. The quality is incredible. Very Pleased I have had the product for about 1 year. So problems with the printer or with the ink.

I stick with the brand inks for my photo printer. My prints are for sale. You just can’t skimp if people are paying for top quality. It is expensive though

These Canon cartridges always seem to work well and the purchasing process with B&H is always a breeze!

I always use canon ink with my canon printer. Have had bad results with non-canon inks.

What can I say? It’s an ink cartridge. It worked.

Exact same ink and quality of the ink that came when I purchased my printer. No knockoffs. B&H sells the name brand. Good stuff!
Ilene Rodriguez (verified owner) –
my Canon inks all run out at a similar rate so I don’t accumulate too many of one color while running out of another, making this pack very convenient for restocking my printer ink. Also, the clear ink tank confirms that the printer uses up all of the ink before requiring a new cartridge. Yes, they are small and expensive, but you get efficiency and consistency with Canon brand ink.

I use this ink in a wide body printer most often for 13X19 prints. They are always of a quality equal to what a professional photo shop would produce. There are no negatives.
