Canon’s dye ink is the reason I stick with Canon, rather than switching to the highly rated Epson photo printers. The printers may be similar cost, but the Epson pigment inks are inexcusably expensive.

I’m happy as long as these cartridges are still available so i can use my Pixma Pro-100. they’re a bit expensive, but i like the printer and the inks that go with it. they never seem to clog and the colors are great.

The ink is fine. As always with the currently available inkjet printers, i.e. Epson, Canon and HP, you have to buy these proprietary cartridges that only fit a few printers and are outrageously expensive.

Don’t cut corners on quality ink. Yes, it is twice as expensive as the off-brand Amazon cartridges, but for a reason. Other colors aren’t true and will fade. If you are printing images to put up on display, spend the extra money if you already have a nice printer.
