What can I say? Canon ink is reliable and always looks great. I use it in my Pro-100.

The light Gray ink from Canon was added to the line-up of ink cartridges over my last Canon printer. I don’t relish paying a premium price for Canon ink, but at least the quality is good and dependable. The light gray color adds something nice to the overall appearance of the print. I wouldn’t consider substituting a lower grade ink.

So far I love using Canon inks and printers. Previuosly I used Epson printers and inks and i was always having issues with poor print quality and having to always clean heads. There was issues with clogging etc. I switched to Canon 2 years ago and havent had even a single issue like this. The blacks are black. Very predictable results.

Nothing but praise for Canon ink cartridges! I teach high school digital photo classes and these inks used along w/ the Canon Pixma Pro-100 and Canon luster paper, my photo prints are impressive every time!

I use a Canon Pro100 for clients and personal projects and while using third party inks may seem appealing, don’t do it! Yes ink from the manufacturer can get expensive but it beats messing up your print heads or getting prints that fade all too quickly. Canon inks in this case are continuous flowing to keep those print heads moisten and not dried up and clogged. Spend the extra money and get the end results your looking for. Finding these Black/Grey only bundles is hard , but checking here at BH I can always count on them having some in stock. Thank you…

As usual, the ink tank pack was shipped on time and received. I haven’t had to replace any of the cartridges in my printer yet but I assume that since these are manufacturer supplied cartridges, they are functional and will work properly. I guess I would redommend them for anyone with a Pixma Pro 100 printer.

Ink is expensive but the value of the representation of your work product is priceless. The PIXMA PRO-100 Printer is the best professional printer I’ve ever owned and use it for all my print work. The interface shows you each individual color cartridge levels as well as warning which particular one is running low. You can replace that specific color which gives you heads-up of which one to buy instead of buying a full set, a cost discretion directive. I don’t print high volume, so I can’t attest to the cartridge mileage but I havent had any complaints and it’s an expected expense for any printer. I never looked into refilling nor aftermarket, if available at all, let alone tamper with the functionality of my printer. Each cartridge is very well packed (a bit much to dispose of) and ready to easily install into its specific slot. Have not seen any bleeding (I think print quality is sharp, near perfect) nor any fading of prints in normal room display conditions. Ink dries very quickly (I leave fresh prints undisturbed dust-free) over a day just to be safe before handling or mounting. I appreciate B+H almost always have all colors in stock with quick shipping or pick-up in emergency. It prints normal text document excellent even in quick draft mode (I think to save ink on non-critical printing and still prints great). As well as a precaution, I dont mind using it for occasional text documents just to keep nozzles clear of dried ink but it doesn’t seem necessary for I haven’t experienced any errors from non-use. This is the ink made for your printer, it produces great results. You get what you pay for. It’s more cost effective to do something right the first time. *(This is no directive, I’ve evaluated for what worked from my experience, your needs and results may differ. Engage at your own risk.)

Its not worth buying refills. The ink quality is not even close to authentic
Logan Reichel (verified owner) –
Much cheaper than the original manufacturer’s ink, plus free freight.

I use this ink with Canon luster and pro platinum paper. Exceptional ink. There are no comparisons. Buy the best.

Let begin by saying that I am not a professional photographer. At best, I can be described as a semi-advanced hobbyist. My main camera is a Nikon D7100 and my favorite lenses are an old Nikon 50 mm f/1.8 a Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR, and one of Tamron’s relatively new 150-600mm with their version of VR. I use the 8 color ink pack in a Canon Pro-100 printer and couldn’t be happier. I’ve tried the cheap brands and have ended up throwing each and every one of them away. They either don’t work at all, the colors bleed, or the colors are so far off that they border on the absurd. With Canon ink, you get exactly what you want. Precise colors, well delivered onto the paper with clean lines. I may not be a pro shooter but I will admit to having an excellent eye for color. I have used this ink in prints all of the way up to 12×18 and have been very pleased with the results. In fact, I gave one of my large prints to my sister in law who is the Associate Curator for Acquisitions at a national art gallery. Way back in the film days, she was the top developer for a nationally renowned wildlife photographer. So she has a very keen eye. She has been quite impressed with the coloration on many of the prints that I have made with this ink. In fact, she has a few of my shots hanging in her and my brother’s home. Much of my work is of wildlife, landscapes, and florals where color is everything. Also, the ink tanks last far longer than I ever expected them too. Finally, I this ink works this well for this admittedly amateurish shooter, just imagine what it can do for you.

B&H is simply THE BEST!!! they have everything! and they can get it to you as fast as you can afford. lol. standard delivery is usually ok for me. but it’s nice to know that overnight means overnight! smart staff, excellent selection of items IN STOCK! really good prices!! spandex suits and capes are all that’s missing!

Pricey..but most know going into the process of printing at home that the ink is Mickey D’s french fries…it’s where the money is made. Although cheaper; I’ve never been interested in trying an off brand. These work every time

Just ordering my first pack of ink for the Pixma Pro 100 I purchased in late 2015. I can’t believe how long they originals lasted, I’m hoping these will be even better. B&H has best the prices don’t bother looking around, just buy it if you need ink for your printer!
