I like the quality of the photo that it produces but these cartridges are expensive. They are easy to install and they produce sharp tones and colors , but the cartridges definitely have a short life span.

Glad B&H stocks this canon ink, its getting hard to find and Amazon will raise the prices because they know its getting hardtop find. Thanks for having it in stock.

Who would use a non-canon ink in a large scale Canon printer capable of 13 x 19 paper? Not Me! It is simply not that much more to use real Canon ink.
Rudy Runte (verified owner) –
Have alway found Canon ink to be consistent in color and reliability for my Pro-100 printer. Tried a compatible brand once and did not like the results.
Dayne Keebler (verified owner) –
Like my printer. Like the ink but why is ink so expensive?
Laila Hahn (verified owner) –
By using only Canon ink, my Pro-100 is always ready to print with minimum lose of ink due to cleaning. I don’t use this printer everyday. Sometimes it sits for a week between uses. I have had bad luck with off brand ink in other of my printers; so I stick to Canon ink only

Canon CLI-42 creates professional quality prints. Beautiful lifelike natural looking colors.

I have relied on Canon brand and B & H has the best price with PayBoo. I haven’t tried other inks as it seems too risky.

Using this ink with a Canon Pro 100 printer to produce 13×19 prints on Canson Paper with Canson profiles. Way good enough to go on gallery walls in NYC, Bergen Co and Newark

I make fine art photo prints on my Canon Pro-100 printer using these inks and Canon Pro Luster paper.

Pictures look professional with my Canon pro printer.

Use with Cannon Ink Jet Printer-Pro 100. Printing my photo work was done by commercial printers. I started printing my work and I’m amazed at the results – perfect. Thank you B&H for your help.

Canon CLI-42 inks work as expected – No clogs, good color, good fade resistance. There is the OE ink cost, of course, but B&H has a good price on the 8-catridge set. No complaints, works as advertised, what more can one expect? 5 stars.

Hey, just an idea … don’t ask people to write reviews of stuff we have no choice but buying. Otherwise, someone might be tempted to point out the obvious. It’s eight plastic containers with ridiculously small amounts of ink in them. How much do you think I enjoy putting a kidney on eBay to pay for this? Of course, these are made with the tears of elven virgin princesses, and the pigments are gathered from the wings of Harvard educated butterflies. Still a tad pricey, though. I’ll forego the photo upload, ’cause all I could show you is a picture of my weeping bank account.

Had to order this online when the national large chain @ store didn’t stock this multipack even on their website. I was amazed to find it available elsewhere & couldn’t be more happy with the delivery time & product quality.

I have tried fake Canon inks but Canon really know how to make a fine product. Don’t try the immitators, get the real thing.

Looks great and works well with the printer. It’s ink…

I originally bought the Canon Pixma Pro 100 when it was on special offer. Many reviews, were not positive, but I have found this printer and ink combination really do give great quality images. The key for me is selecting the right paper. I do a lot of black and white photos, so often need to replace the Blacks and grey before other colors. Pros: Intense blacks and great contrast and warmth on Baryta, semi gloss paper. Economy, the inks last well. Cons: like many dye based inks they lose some visual contrast on uncoated cotton art paper. How a printed image strikes the viewer depends on so many variables, My measure is how, I and others respond to the print. I am less interested in discussions about which printer technology is best, and far more interested in how well the final print communicates the photograph. Overall, I really like the striking results I get with this ink, combined with the right paper.
