Canon’s proprietary FINE (Full Photolithographic Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology provides sharpness and detail. My PIXMA Pro100 printer use CLI-42 inks, 8 of them. Canon sells them individually online with apparently no multi-pack option. Thanks to B&H for offering them in a multi-pack; it saved me both money and time. Canon’s price for individual color tanks was also a bit higher than B&H’s. As usual B&H’s service and quick shipping was appreciated.

I’m told that these cartridges are identical to the CLI-8 but the computer chips are different. I now have a surplus of cartridges from my old Pro 9000 printer that recently died. I sure wish they were interchangeable ! Cost aside, this is a good product.
