The CLI-42 Light Gray Ink Cartridge from Canon is a specially formulated ChromaLife100+ ink. The ink produces professional quality & long-lasting photo prints, ideal for displaying printed works of art. Canon’s proprietary FINE (Full Photolithographic Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology provides sharpness and detail. The individual ink system helps increase efficiency since you’ll only be replacing the color that runs out.

I,M HAPPY WITH MY CANON INK CARTRIDGES EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT YOU CAN’T GET THEY 8 CARTRIDGE SET BECAUSE CANON HAS STOPPED PRODUCTION. B&H SHOULD MAKE UP THESE SETS AT THAT PRICE,THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AT THE INDIVIDUAL PRICE!

I print a lot of color photos on my Canon printer. Both the ink and the printer combined produce the most professional looking prints ever. Colors are vivid and produce a wide range of lifelike hues. I wish, however, that ink cartridges weren’t so pricey and really don’t know why they are. But I am very satisfied with the results.

I use nothing but Canon inks in my Pixma Pro 100 printer. Been that way for years, never had the slightest problem. Used 3rd party inks in my little Brother office printer and after a few months had nothing but trouble. From now on I’ll use the manufactures ink. I also use nothing but Canon paper. Looking at pictures I hung years ago I see no sign of deterioration. Ordering and shipping is always B&H high standard.

I recently purchased a Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer from you and I am happy to say that after a month of use, the printer is functioning flawlessly and has turned out prints in all sizes with excellent results. The Canon inks have always had a nicer tonal quality and a smoother gradation between colors than most of the other brands I have tried. This new Canon is the first one I have owned to use the Chroma-Life inks which are advertised to have a life of at least 100 years when the archival paper is used with them. I have also observed that the printer does not appear to use a lot of ink compared to a printer from another manufacturer that I use for some of my less important work.
