   These inks from Canon work well and have never failed. However, you need to keep buying a steady stream of them because the Canon printers use a lot of ink for nothing.

   All these inks, with the Pixma PRO-10, are glorious. The best quality I’ve seen in my prints, and I’ve been through several printers and countless print shops. I’ve been making prints with huge swaths of black that come out perfectly smooth, and the tanks last surprisingly long.

   I use this ink as recommended by Canon for my Pixma-Pro 10 printer with excellent results. I am able to take advantage of large color gamuts on fine art papers and would only change inks when I am forced to change printers. I hope this ink is available for a long time. The picture shown here exactly matches the print!

    The primary reason I purchased my Canon Pixma Pro 10 printer was to be in control of my printed images’ quality and attributes. This printer combined with Canon PGI-72 inks have given me the consistent results I desire. I’m not sure if there are substitutes or third-party options, but I’ve been sufficiently pleased with my prints that I have no incentive to try to save a few dollars and potentially jeopardize the results. The Value Pack is a good choice to save a few dollars over buying individual tanks. B&H is my go-to source for original ink that is always in stock, ships quickly, and is offered at a fair price.

    I tried specialized after-market colors and nothing does as well as the Canon ink. I tried Precision Colors and they were very good but just not as good as Canon original.

    I always buy this package and then add the photo black, chroma optimizer, and grey individual ink cartridges. It is just easier to get this package so that you have the full compliment of ink cartridges when you need them. Canon ink is always consistent in color and luminance. After many years of using Canon ink, I have yet to have a problem.
