The ink tank features an LED light which will illuminate when you install the ink tank correctly. The Canon 3-color inkjet provides great color. I don’t feel any risk of problems using a OEM product even though it costs a little bit more than after market products. Using the large capacity cartridge cuts down on the annoyance of replacement.

I have Canon Photo printer iP7220, I use this printer for Photo prints only with Canon photo paper Pro-Platinum 7 stars ChromaLife 100+ the best paper for prints to last over 100 years without fade out, but only to keep in pro Archival Albums and pages Print File, also I buy in B&H. Canon in their web site says that last over 200 years.

Fact of life Pixma goes thru ink like….anyway, a lot. XL cartridges save a couple of 0.01s hopefully someday there will be XXL or maybe XXXL
