This inks is necessary to print color. If you use your printer mostly with black and white you can set it for gray scale and you will use the cartridge ink 250 that has more ink quantity.

I primarily use this ink in my Canon Pixma 7120 to print 4X6 and 8X10 glossy photos. The ink quality is superb and I love that these larger cartridge’s last longer. I always run out of Cyan, magenta and yellow first, so being able to purchase those 3 colors only in a pack is a big plus. Another plus is I checked the price for this pack everywhere online and B&H’s price beat everyone’s out there!

The xl carts. Are a little better than the regular non xl carats I know that this i Ip8720 is a low price printer but the carts. Way to small.
