The CLI-251GY XL High-Capacity Gray Ink Tank from Canon is part of the ChromaLife100+ system that guarantees print longevity of 300 years when used with select Canon paper and stored in an archival-quality photo album. The ink tank features an LED light which will illuminate when you install the ink tank correctly. Additionally, when a full set of Canon ink is installed, you can access content on Canon’s Creative Park Premium website for free. The instant-drying ink is compatible with the following printers:

Fact of life Pixma goes thru ink like….anyway, a lot. XL cartridges save a couple of 0.01s hopefully someday there will be XXL or maybe XXXL

The Canon 3-color inkjet provides great color. I don’t feel any risk of problems using a OEM product even though it costs a little bit more than after market products. Using the large capacity cartridge cuts down on the annoyance of replacement.

This inks is necessary to print color. If you use your printer mostly with black and white you can set it for gray scale and you will use the cartridge ink 250 that has more ink quantity.
