The Canon PIXMA iP8720 Wireless Inkjet Photo Printer allows you to create high resolution 9600 x 2400 dpi full color prints. Also, this printer has a 6-color ink configuration, including gray, that enables excellent tonalities and color reproduction for your images.
You can print directly onto CD, DVD, and Blu-ray discs with the use of the disc tray. Other features include automatic power on and off for power management when the printer is not in use as well as compatibility with the PIXMA Printing Solutions smartphone application.

I bought this printer to serve as a support and subsequently replacement for my old inkjet printer. This has worked so well that my old inkjet printer has been boxed up for recycling. This is now my one only printer and it is, up to this point, an excellent primary printer. The colors are beautiful and my clients like the results as well. Perhaps later this year, I get another one to add as a support and backup printer.

Ran my first 13×19 print through yesterday, this printer more than surprised me, the fine print nozzles produced stellar resolution. my black and white print exemplified a crisp-ness of detail I have not experienced in previous home printers. You will not be disappointed with this machine.

I wasn’t expecting a great deal from this printer for the price but I’m very happy with it. It prints beautiful 13 x 19 photos with vibrant color and sharpness. I’ve printed several photos I took while living in Europe and now have them displayed in my house. The printer is also very fast.

I have printed several 13×19 prints with the iP8720 printer and LOVE the quality I am getting. Personally tho, I feel linking the printer wirelessly is far more involved than it should be, and for now I have opted to connect it via USB.

Just received the printer yesterday, set it up today, printed my first photo and am blown away by the quality! Brilliant color and clarity! Also, I found the wifi set up to be fairly easy with the Canon Print App. Printed a photo directly from my phone with ease. Would highly recommend.

I printed about 10 photos as trial. Very pleased with the 4×6 borderless prints. Connected via WiFi and was able to print from my Android phone, my IPad, my wife’s laptop and my tower. I used Canon support to make the WiFi connection and was a very pleasant experience. Very pleased with B&H also. Happy camper.

Best printer i’ve ever owned. Paper feed from the back gives it an advantage over other printers.

I only use as hardwired printer. Setup is easy – comes withproper driver for Win 10. Reproduction is darker than CS5 preview but consistent. Increasing photo brightnessbefore printing corrects completely to WYSIWYG Color is excellent. Ink cost would be exorbitant with Canon but third party ink brings down cost of 13″x19″ print, including premium paper, to under 2.50 per print with no visible degrading

Came with broken hardware, B200 error code. Spent hours I. Set up process, registering product with canon, and then on repair phone call to get replacement sent. Hopefully new one comes in 5 days and then I will have to ship broken one back. It is and was a very time consuming process for a printer.

I print a lot, ether documents or cd’s labels and to say that this does a great job is an understatement! The Pixma iP8720 is one of the fastest printers that print high quality documents, Web pages and PDFs too. Wonderful and easy to setup and get started.

Great experience so far, I wanted a no-frills photo printer that can do borderless printing on big paper sizes that wasn’t crazy expensive. Aftermarket ink is commonly available for this model and has worked great for me so far. Wifi printing works flawlessly. Really the only downside is how big the darn thing is, but it has to be big to fit 13 wide paper through it.

Just the right wireless printer for the amateur photographer.

After looking far and wide for a printer that was able to print good quality prints as well as documents, this one exceeded my expectations. Clean, simple and great quality. Even without calibrating my printer to LR, the colors had an almost painterly quality to them. Very pleased.

Smooth quiet operation. Easy setup. Love that I can print directly from my iPhone. Only issue is that there’s no paper cassette tray. The only way to feed paper is from the top. This means that the top is always open and exposed to dust if you want to keep paper in the feeder.

Very large footprint, but expected that to be able to print larger sized paper. Easy to use with good quality output. I bought this printer specifically because of the ability to print larger paper sizes and CD/DVDs. My only disappointment was the lack of an automatic duplex feature.

I’ve had this printer for over 18-months. I use it for professional photo printing as well as for regular printing. The ink which I use is of the highest quality on very expensive photo paper including Metallic as well as on Canon brand paper. It is used for a number of prints from invoices to receipts to articles and all are quite superior. No qualms about it whatsoever. Then again, I’ve been using Canon printers since 2002 and only purchase those with individual ink tanks. I’ve printed nearly 15,000 documents and close to 1,000 photos with it. Haven’t used the CD/DVD print system yet. Because of my experience, I purchased another one as a birthday gift for a friend.

As a former marketing rep that worked for Canon printers, I can testify that this is a phenomenal printer. The resolution is the highest out there for photo printing, and with the color balanced monitor, the results are spectacular. Canon is the best for photo printing, hands down. In fact, HP has used Canon tech in their own laser and ink printers for years.
