Very nice design. I like that it’s completely overmoulded in rubber. Gives it a nice hand feel and provides extra grip. The dual direction driving is also a great choice

I don’t usually write reviews, but this screwdriver was so exceptional that I’ll make an exception. Best screwdriver in the world. I had to remove over 100 stuck screws and would never have done it without this tool. Only about 5% that wouldn’t budge were sheared off.

After being very frustrated with rusted screws on a 70 year old vehicle, this item did the trick. A couple of quick hits with the hammer (use a decent sized hammer) and out them came. Highly recommend if you have rusted screws that won’t come out!

I’m taking a 25 year old Weber grill apart that I found on Craigslist to restore it back to new. Whoever had it before me didn’t take too much care and several of the screws holding in the burner tubes were stuck in place, along with some of the bolts holding the body to the frame. I was just stripping the heads with my drill tip screwdrivers. I don’t have an impact wrench so in comes the impact screwdriver. Place the grill body on the ground for solid support and take several wacks with this driver. Loosened things up enough that i was able to remove with pliers. Saved me the headache of having to drill out the screws or grind out the bolts. And didn’t worry about the safety of my hands because of the wide hand protection. I can already see so many other uses for this, especially with impact sockets. Great addition to the tool chest.

For some reason, I cant put in a screw without stripping it. I always try to use plyers as a removal tool, but its really a pain, and dosnt always work.when I first opened this set, I was really suprised how sturdy it was. Its built with solid metal, and will have no problem standing up to a beating over and over from a hammer. The grip is solid and also textured so it wont slip out of you hand. It also has a hand protector on the top of the tool so you dont smash yout hand when pounding on it. All you have to do is find the bit you need (such as phillips’s head/straight head tip) and place it in the stripped out screw. A couple of wacks with a hammer, and it cuts/stamps a new grove. The bits are solid, and stays in the tool well, and the case that comes with this is also heavy duty.I will tell you that this impact set is worth every penny, and will be used many times in my garage!

Great 1/2 dive impact screwdriver, and great addition to my tool box. Fantastic for loosening stubborn nuts, bolts, Philip screws and slotted screws. Also it is not only for loosening nuts and bolts, but it is also for tightening nuts, bolt screws. Comes with one impact driver, one 1/2 drive x 5/16 hex adapter, four long screw driver bits 3 1/8. Phillips 2 and Philips 3, regular slotted screwdriver bits 5/16 and 3/8. Four standard screwdriver bits 1 3/8 long Very well made sturdy set.

The Capri Tools 1/2 in. Drive Impact Screwdriver Set comes with the 1/2 inch drive impact driver, an adapter for 1/2 in. to 5/16 in. hex bits, four slotted bits, four Phillips bits and a carry case. The impact driver is well built and its weight implies strength and durability. I like the double layer hand protection and the slip resistant handle. Each strike of the impact driver results in approximately 1/8 turn of the bit. The bits are good quality and fit into undamaged screws tightly. The driver has a direction setting allowing it to be used for tightening or loosening of fasteners. The standard 1/2 inch drive allows you to use this tool with standard sockets or with hex bits. My testing involved driving 3 inch screws into solid wood. I was able to easily drive in the screws (no pilot hole) and the remove them without damaging the head of the screw since the bits fit so well. The case is standard plastic with molded sections for the drive and bits. It has quality hinges and latches which should last a long time.

First time I used one of these was in the military, back then they didn’t have anything to protect your hands or fingers from getting struck by the hammer…nice feature to have! If you don’t have an impact wrench or hammer drill, this is a must have in your toolbox. The bits that it brings are heavy duty with a sturdy shank in multiple sizes both Philips and Standard. Everything is nicely packaged in a small box to keep everything organized. Haven’t found a stubborn screw that won’t come out with the impact screwdriver!
