The Capri Tools Kontour Screwdrivers are forged from Chrome Molybdenum steel, the professionals’ choice steel. It provides the high tensile strength demanded by the professionals. Nonmagnetic black phosphate coated tips provide excellent gripping power and give you easier and more secure turns. The Kontour handle is shaped to fit the curvature of your hand, giving you a powerful and ultra-comfortable grip. The Kontour handle has a hybrid grip covered in alternating soft and hard layers, in a pattern designed to strike the perfect balance between high speed turning and high torque transfer. The hybrid grip gives you a sure grip while lets you quickly shift in between turns. Anti-roll design makes sure the screwdriver stays where you leave it and won’t roll away. A nice torx screwdriver set. Torx fasteners are popping up everywhere now from changing your spark plugs to electrical work in your house, but this set contains the sizes you’re most likely to encounter. Anything larger than T30 should be a socket and anything smaller than T10 should be a bit in a mini driver.The grip has a very nice feel and shape to them that makes your ring and pinky fingers help out instead of freeloading. The T30 has a slightly larger handle than the rest. Although they lack a bolster I imagine that you could insert another screwdriver through the lanyard hole for more torque—but I wouldn’t recommend that. The black coating started scratching off early on, but I see no real signs of wear so far. That isn’t surprising since Capri has developed a good reputation with their sockets and wrenches.The only bad thing about the screwdrivers is that the labeling on them is so small and crowded that it’s pretty much useless. They need a large, plain “T30” or whatever size it is. There is also stiff competition in this price range from other companies.Using these screwdrivers is much more convenient than what I was using—removable bits and 1/4 sockets. Tools that make your life easier are almost always worth it.

I ordered this set Kontour star head screw drivers to handle delicate tasks with scrapping auto mobile head light assemblies and many other applications that require star type screw drivers when using the set i noticed good control and and comfort screwing in and unscrewing. The quality of each driver is good and after much use the tips remain in good shape. After use after use so i recommend this set for Auto shop and and HVAC use

This set of screwdrivers is well made, and extremely handy! The handles are contoured and fit my hand nicely, allowing me get a good grip and deliver plenty of torque. Star drive screws are becoming increasingly prevalent, so everybody should own a set of these. Star drives outperform Phillips and slotted screws hands down. These tools are individually marked with their size. The only complaint I have is the print size they use could be a bit larger for my old eyes (see pic), but that is a minor issue. All around great!

Decent set of TORX type drivers. Handles have a nice contour and grip similar to other European brand type drivers. Driver shafts have what appears to be a chrome shank with a carbonized blasted tip.Shank on all drivers is 4″ in length which is about average but may not have the torque turning capability that longer shank drivers have. All drivers of this set have the same size handle with the exception of the T30 driver being slightly larger on the handle. In use, the drivers work as intended with no abnormal wear observed. Only detraction is that the driver size markings on both the handle end and side are kinda small and I have my reservations that the screening process of the markings will not hold up to solvents for long term wear and making the drivers hard to identify later.

This is a high quality star drive set. The contoured handles are very comfortable to hold in your hand and the rubber overmold provides a slip resistant grip. Each driver has the size imprinted on the handle in near microscopic print. The company logo however is printed in a large bold font. The included case keeps the six drivers organized for easy access. If you have a toolbox the case is quite large and probably won’t be very useful. The case probably won’t stand up to heavy use. I would consider more of a high quality packing material.
