The Capri Tools bit sockets are made for the most demanding professionals. Each of our bit sockets is made from custom forged steel that underwent a proprietary heat treatment process and precisely machined to perform in toughest situations. Premium S2 steel forged bits are exceptionally strong and durable. They withstand high torque and do not twist, protecting both the bit and the fastener. All bits feature chamfered end to ensure a smooth fit onto fasteners. The sockets are constructed with premium Chrome Vanadium steel and plated with our own chrome protective plating. They are durable and resist corrosion. The bits come installed on our premium double-sided socket rail to keep the socket bits securely organized. Meets and exceeds ASME B107.110 standards. Set includes (15) star bit sockets: 1/4 in. drive: T6, T7, T8, T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, 3/8 in. drive: T40, T45, T50, 1/2 in. drive: T55, T60.

Pretty impressed with this star socket set. They have snugly fit all the fasteners I tested them on and turned them all without stripping either the socket or head. Haven’t tried the larger bits yet, but I’m glad they are there. Build quality seems great overall and all the sockets are clearly marked. The included holder is nice and solid. Zero complaints so far! These are backed by a lifetime warranty, so they should hopefully last quite some time.

If you are looking for quality over price, these are great. 15 pieces in 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive seem very well made and cover a range of sizes to fit most any task. Even the bit holding strip is well made with a metal backing and spring ball to hold the bits to the plastic bit carrier. Nicely done. You could find much cheaper or more limited size selections if you don’t need durability and quality but if you need tools to last and need the range of sizes, these are a good choice.
