The Capri Tools bit sockets are made for the most demanding professionals. Each of our bit sockets is made from custom forged steel that underwent a proprietary heat treatment process and precisely machined to perform in toughest situations. Premium S2 steel forged bits are exceptionally strong and durable. They withstand high torque and do not twist, protecting both the bit and the fastener. All bits feature chamfered end to ensure a smooth fit onto fasteners. Long bits let you work on fasteners in hard to reach areas. The sockets are constructed with premium Chrome Vanadium steel and plated with our own chrome protective plating. They are durable and resist corrosion. The bits come installed on our premium double-sided socket rail to keep the socket bits securely organized. Meets and exceeds ASME B107.110 standards. Set includes (15) star bit sockets: 1/4 in. drive (3-1/16 in. long bit): T6, T7, T8, T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, 3/8 in. drive (2-3/4 in. long bit): T40, T45, T50, 1/2 in. drive (2-1/2 in. long bit): T55, T60.

This is a very impressive set bits. The finish is great looking. It has a wide range of sizes, all the way up to T60. The ends are chamfered for a quick and easy fit. The first thing I check with a tool is the fit. These fit perfectly to the fittings on my motorcycle. I don’t want a sloppy fit that will damage my fasteners and these are perfect. The length makes access easier and helps me stay away from the chrome. The socket size is different with the different sizes, ¼”, 3/8” or 1//2”. That can add some protection to help keep you from over torqueing smaller fasteners. The set comes with the neatest, easiest to use socket rail. It is a smooth finished metal, that has spring loaded detent ball that will securely hold the sockets onto the rail, but the sockets are easily removed when you need them. This is very nice and complete set. Get this one and you’re done.

These star bits are super. The fit and finish is great. Chromed socket ends are easy to read and pop onto your ratchet easily.The star ends fit into their intended sockets precisely.The extra length is where the real benefits arise. Sometime you just can’t get there from where you are and the extra length makes getting the job done possible. I have a whole set of star bits that are all about an inch long, which is fine some of the time, but occasionally the socket that holds that short bit is in the way and you are stuck. The extra length is a life saver. These would be worth the extra money to be your only set of stars as they are durable and will last for a long time.
