The Capri Tools 1/2 in. Drive Lug Nut Flip Impact Socket Set includes three sockets that cover six most commonly used sizes – 2 sizes for each flip socket. Thin wall sockets fit into most lug nut openings. We use premium Chrome Molybdenum steel tempered with our proprietary heat treatment process to make these deep impact sockets. They are durable and specifically made to withstand high torque from power tools. The 6-point WaveDrive design grips fasteners more tightly than traditional design, preventing fastener rounding and giving you more leverage. Large wraparound color-coded sizing is easy to identify even in low light conditions. Set includes: a 17 mm x 19 mm socket, a 3/4 in. x 13/16 in. socket, a 21 mm x 7/8 in. socket and an impact extension bar.

Received my 1/2 inch Drive SAE/Metric impact flip socket set a couple weeks ago. I have used them now twice. What a great idea to take sockets and be able to flip them and have either SAE or METRIC in one piece. This takes less space in my tool box too. My son in law notice this set sitting on my work bench, he uses his impact driver just about every work day, he plans to order a set. Told him Home Depot has them. I would recommend this product.

I have seen these at the auto tire shops and finally got my own. these are great as they fit the lug bolts on all the cars. I use the 3/4 on my truck and 21MM on my sports car most and if I need something of a different size I can just flip the socket over. It comes with a short length adapter to put on your ratchet or air ratchet that is long enough to just flip and not have to buy a Impact shaft.

The Capri Tools 1/2 in. Drive SAE/Metric 4 Piece Impact Flip Socket Set includes three sockets (17mm/19mm, 3/4″/13/16”, 21mm/7/8”) and a 3” x 1/2″ drive extension bar. The sockets are made of Chrome Molybdenum Steel and are impact rated.I used the product on my 21mm lug nuts. The product description states the 6 point wave design grips fasteners more tightly than a tradition design. In my testing compared to a standard 6 point impact socket, I found the Capri Tools socket to be looser on my lug nut. While it may grip fine and not round it feels loose and that is disconcerting. Another concern for me with this product is the case. The hinge and latches are thin plastic that will eventually crack and break off as I have experienced with numerous products over the years with this sort of hinge/latch system. A case with a true pin hinge system and proper latches would make this a much better product.I like the convenience of a small kit that contains six common socket sizes. If you own a few different vehicles this would be the perfect set to cover all the lug nut sizes.

These socket are fairly thin and will fit most wheels, the metal on the extension and the sockets seems to be of good quality, after several uses they do not show any wear. The extension has just a ball style lock and not the impact type pin for a lock however the sockets have the hole for the pin style lock and will lock on to my no name impact extensions. The 3 sockets are a 17mm / 19mm, a 21mm / 7/8″ and a 3/4″ / 13/16″ and use a flank style opening, The only thing I wish is that they had put the 17mm and the 7/8 inch on the same flip socket as the 7/8 is mostly used for trucks and the 17mm almost never. So if you have a car and don’t know what size it uses 19mm or 21mm you have to grab 2 sockets to cover your bases. The sockets also have the sizes engraved into them which is nice, so that when the paint wears off you can still see what size they are. The case is only of fair quality, but it is nice and compact (2″ x 5 1/2″ x 6″)
