The Capri Tools 1/4 inch Drive 72-Tooth Flex-Head Low Profile Ratchet (part# CP12100FX), where shall I begin… I own a lot of tools and to start, the finish is impeccable. The tolerances are tight yet, not too much resistance is present. Now, positive detents do exist and are a nice additive. I thought the anvil provided a quality grip on my sockets and extensions new and old. And finally, the ratchet mechanism. I utilized this ratchet on a dash & door panel project. Never did the mechanism slip and the 5° swing was positively noticed in tight places. Very well done Capri!

This ratchet was something I have wanted for a long time. I have plenty of 1/4 inch ratchets but none with the flex head. The flexible head comes in handy working on dashes in or out of the vehicles. Allows you to quickly break the nut loose and flip up the ratchet and turn it into a speedy wrench. The teeth in the ratchet are very close together so working in tight spots is easy. Good job Capri tools.

This is a quality tool. Being old school I’d prefer ratchets with fatter handles. These thin slender handles are common these days. I’d like it to be also say an inch longer. But that’s just I. I like the fine ratchet action and low profile. A real work horse. This was just about the back bone of overhaul on my engine last week. Did just about all I need it too. I like it.

This is a review of the Capri Tools 1/4” drive Flex-head low profile ratchet, 72-tooth. Really well made tool. I can feel the quality of this ratchet when I use it. There is no slippage or wobble in the gears when using this tool. Flawless chrome plated head and handle. The thumb lever to switch from right to left is conveniently located and simple to use. The wrench is also thin enough to get into tight spaces. The flex-head allows access to spaces that are even more challenging to reach. Sockets are easy to get on and off the wrench. This is now my go to 1/4” ratchet. A very handy tool to have for sure.

The Capri Tools 1/4 drive flex head ratchet is built well for the price. The flex joint is solid. The 72 tooth ratcheting mechanism operates smoothly. The ratcheting direction is easily changed with just a flick of the thumb. I have had other ratchets that the direction lever binds up and will not switch if there is any pressure on it but this one moves easily back and forth but stays put when working the ratchet.
