The Capri Tools Professional 1/8 in. Letter and Number Stamp Set is made from premium components. We use premium Chrome Vanadium steel that’s been differential heat treated to achieve optimal performance and durability: 62 HRC hard stamping end produces high quality imprints and keeps the edges sharp, and 42 HRC tough hammering end excels at absorbing repeated hammer strikes and maintaining durability. Large, true-to-size, and expertly machine letters/numbers ensure the imprints are precise and refined on leather, wood, copper, brass, aluminum and mild steel. Each stamp has engraved sizing and identification on the side facing you, making is easy to fine the right stamp and the right orientation. Includes 36 stamps: letters A-Z in uppercase, the ampersand and, and numbers 0-9. Comes in heavy-duty storage cases.

The Professional 1/8 in. Letter and Number Stamp Set (36-Piece) will help you get your imprinting task done. Each stamp fits nicely in either the box of letter stamps or the box of numbered stamps. I was excited to try these but felt a small it of disappointment. As I was using the stamps, I thought it’d be nice if the stamps had color on the side that faces you so that at a quick glance you could always make sure to get the stamp upright. Also note that number 6 and 9 though are made from the same stamp – so at first you may go crazy wondering if it was lost or was an error. Further, the set did not come with instructions with which would be helpful if they’d advise which metals/thickness, etc. works best with the stamp. I stamped metal on the bottom of a tea light and it worked great. But then I stamped the top outer edge of a soup can twice and it just kept denting. Even a website name on the sets boxes could guide the purchaser where to pose questions or look for tips and techniques.

These are just great. Wished we had bought them a long time ago. My Grandson and I are using them on our train set we are building to put custom numbers on buildings and crossings. I’ve also thought about using them to stamp dates of purchase into some items I bought. I can see many uses for them and they are well built. Look forward to many years of use.

I recently ordered and received the Professional 1/8 in. Letter and Number Stamp Set. It really is a cool tool to have in the shop. The stamp set is very high quality and works very well. At this time, I have only used the set to stamp leather, but the set is advertised as being able to be used on leather, wood, copper, brass, aluminum and mild steel. I have included a picture of initials I stamped on my leather belt with this set and pictures of the complete stamp set. This is going to be great for personalizing and identifying unique projects. In summary, this is a complete numbering and lettering set, is very high quality and really easy and fun to use.

Needed this size stamp set for several jobs. This one is excellent quality and tough. This 1/8” size works for small areas of stamping including keys. I have several keys to carry but remembering what they fit is a problem. This set will easily stamp keys and any other job where space is limited. Every material I have used them on has worked great. Having the number/letter on the side helps finding the right stamp. The good quality case holds the stamps nicely. I recommend these sets.

Very easy to use made of high-quality hardened metal Alphabet set and a numbered set. They hold up to pounding time and time again. So nice to initial or number or whatever your need is to make your mark on personal property for identification in case of being stolen or you work in an area with other people with similar stuff that you can identify yours at easy glance. This should be in the shop of everyone. I highly recommend them. I love the sets. They will last forever too if taken care of and not abused.
