The Capri Tools Torx Master 60 Piece Bit Socket Set includes four different types of sockets (Star Bits with the “T” designation, Tamper Proof Star Bits with the “TT” designation, Star Plus bits with the “TP” designation and External Star sockets with the “E” designation) in three different ratchet sizes (1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch). The bits are made of heat treated S2 steel and the sockets chrome plated Chrome Vanadium.I was able to test a Star Plus bit (TP) on the bolt holding my SUV seat to the floor of the vehicle. The bit fit perfectly and was able to break the bolt loose without any damage to the bit or the bolt. Similar results for tightening the bolt.The bits and sockets are not impacted rated. They should only be used with ratchets, breaker bars and torque wrenches. Overall I really like this set from a quality and size selection perspective. Sizes are etched into the sockets and should last a lifetime. The product is also backed by a lifetime warranty.The let down for me is the case. The hinge and latches are thin plastic that will eventually crack and break off as I have experienced with numerous products over the years with this sort of hinge/latch system. A case with a true pin hinge system and proper latches would make this a five star product in my opinion.

The 60 piece Torx Master Bit Socket Set is a nice complete set. It comes in a blue blow molded case that makes it easy to store and carry around. The case also helps to keep all the sockets in order! The set consists of both internal E4-E24 and external TP8-TP60, TT6-TT70, T6-T70 sockets. The sockets are 1/4,3/8 and 1/2 drive chrome sockets. Good all around set.

A good selection of tork and star sockets to handle any need. Wish I had bought this set years ago. Larger take a 3/8 drive and smaller sizes take a 1/4 inch drive. Keep that in mind when purchasing.

I have not used any of this bits in this kit yet. They appear of good quality. The large print of the size on the bit is nice. I purchased this set after I could not find the correct Torx size to repair a snowmobile secondary. I ended up using the wrong size. I twisted the tip of the Torx bit I was using because it was a little small and a loose fit. I bought this set so I would not have to deal with that situation again. Looks like this kit has every Torx I would need. No more searching for the correct size in the several places I have tools (Garage Tool Box, House Tool Box in the basement, Tools in my car I use for work.) You know the drill. I did have the correct size, I just did not recognize it in one of the screw driver kits I have. It was just a bit not a socket with the bit. Now I have it in one kit.
