The Capri Tools Advanced Series sockets and bit sockets are made for the most demanding professionals. Crafted from custom forged premium steel, they undergo proprietary heat treatment and are precisely machined to perform in the toughest situations. The bits are forged with premium S2 steel. These S2 steel bits are exceptionally strong and durable; they withstand high torque and do not twist, protecting both the bit and the fastener. Our proprietary advanced heat treatment process further enhances the properties of the S2 and Chrome Vanadium steel alloy to achieve the optimal balance of strength and performance. All bits have chamfered end to ensure a smooth fit onto fasteners. The sockets are made from premium Chrome Vanadium steel, plated with our SmartKrome protective plating for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. Organized in an impact-resistant tool case, the master set includes 60 most frequently used star bit sockets: (14) external star sockets, (17) star bit sockets, (17) tamper proof star bit sockets and (12) star plus bit sockets.

The ADVANCED SERIES STAR MASTER BIT SOCKET SET (60-PIECE) is an incredibly well-made set of star, or TORX, sockets. Each socket’s size is clearly stamped in relatively large letters and numerals into the outside surface of the respective socket, making each socket easy to identify. The sockets themselves are heavy-duty – made of a very strong steel and are of impressive weight, at least equal to or better than any I have ever owned. The sockets fit perfectly with my existing 1/2 inch/ 3/8, and 1/4 inch drive ratchets. The entire set is stored in a durable latching carrying case. These are keepers – meaning this set should last a lifetime.

Very high quality and well thought out assortment of star bit sockets. I use these regularly on my car and bike, occasionally on my computer. The set contains 1/4″ ,3/8″, and 1/2 ” drives in all the sizes and configurations I ever use. Most impressive is the chamfered end of each bit. They really fit smoothly and positively to the fasteners allowing me to either loosen or tighten with total control. They are made of S2 steel with Chrome Vanadium to withstand high torque and not twist. To me, that translates to mean they just feel good in my hands, do not tend to strip fasteners, and will hold up to real usage. I replaced a previous set whose pieces had slowly been lost through the years and am glad I got a packaged set. They work better than the previous ones and are in a case so individual pieces stay organized and will tend to not get lost. I also have the comfort factor of a manufacturers lifetime warranty.

I just received the Advanced Series Star Master Bit Socket Set (60-Piece). The case for storing them is is great. It will be easy to keep track of them. They have a beautiful Polished look. The stamped sizing is perminent and will not fade over time. The bits all have a chamfered edge that ensures a smooth fit into fasteners. I tried them out on a few fasteners and they work awsome. Anyone would be proud to own this set of Capri master star bit sockets.
