Great Tool For The Price

Works as advertised. I was hesitant to put all that much torque on the handle, not having used a torque wrench in a long time, in case it was not calibrated correctly. I was changing oil on a HD motorcycle primary and it asks for 8 ft/lbs or 96 in/lbs. My advice is to go slowly and when the torque wrench head clicks or moves/breaks, stop immediately or the small bolts may strip out their threads. I used it with care and it worked very well for me on both the 17 ft/lbs oil plugs and the primary cover screws. I just bought a 10-150lbs Capri torque wrench as well now that I have used the in/lbs version. Just store them at zero tension and they will server you well. Torque wrenches are not really designed for one size fits all, but they work best at 70% of their medium torque ranges. I would buy this again.

Build quality is great, click action is solid, and I didn’t have any problem adjusting it to max torque setting unlike some other reviews. Only downside is the case is over-sized so the wrench slides back and forth, but I fixed by placing some foam core in the empty space.

I installed a plenum spacer with it and torqued down the intake manifold superbly

This is a very nice, compact torque wrench. It came in a nice, strong plastic case that should serve well to keep this tool in good shape for years to come. The wrench, even though it’s compact, feels very sturdy in your hand and the markings are all easily visible and easy to read. This torque wrench isn’t the nicest on the market but for a garage mechanic it’s done everything I’ve needed it to and has all the features I looked for at a very nice price point. I’d certainly recommend this to anyone building a mechanic’s tool set

I am very happy with this product, accurate, easy to use, and affordable. Does not feel like a cheap tool. I keep one in a race trailer, and another in the shop.

Works great, the click is strong and loudI’ve used other inexpensive torque wrenches where you couldn’t feel the click and this wrench is a lot better and worth a lot more than the price it sells for

Don’t listen for a click on this one. I played with it for a while before I figured the torque value was met when the handle pivots from the head. Again, once the handle breaks and pivots, stop turning! Works well.

The purpose of the torque wrench is to lessen the chance of over or under tightening. The most accurate torque wrench in the world can still cause damage if the threads or the head of the bolt is greased. All recommended torques are with threads assumed to be in-spec and with threads free of debris or lubrication. With that in mind, +/- 4% is plenty accurate for a home torque wrench. This manufacture even includes what spec the built the wrench to and when and who calibrated and certified it. My rule of thumb is that you can tell a quality product when someone is willing to put their name on it, and this wrench had the name of the manufacturer and the calibration technician.

Works as described. I needed a torque wrench in inch pounds not foot pounds for a swimming pool filter. This does the job! Also has Newtons for metric stuff!
