This powerful breaker bar functions as an extension bar that securely holds socket wrench style sockets with extra leverage to break loose frozen and stuck nuts and bolts. Extended 18 in. L, 50% longer than standard, give you extra leverage and makes your job easier. The Chrome Vanadium body is paired with a Chrome Molybdenum head, making for an extremely strong and durable breaker bar. The sockets are kept firmly secure by the spring loaded ball bearing. Having a tool of this types helps with releasing or tightening bolts as required. It also gives leverage as needed in various areas that required additional power. This breaker bar is an added value to my tool box and all features that were posted by Home Depot stand out plus I just received it in time for some work so it is broken in at this time. A breaker bar of this quality meets and exceeds my expectations and I also believe that Home Depot would not sell this product if it did not meets their expectations.

My brother in law borrowed this and won’t give it back. LOL. He uses it for marine engine repair. He really likes the swivel end to get into cramped spaces. The wider handle is more comfortable. The Chrome Molybdenum head is stronger than regular steel. Quality looks good. spring Ball bearing helps keep the socket on. Everyone needs a breaker bar. This is a good one.

This is possibly the best quality 3/8″ breaker bar I have owned. Its sturdy design will deliver plenty of torque for the most stubborn of bolts. It ergonomic design feels good in the hand and is comfortable even when applying great force. I had worked in the auto industry professionally for over 12 years, and have worked on cars as a hobby and as needed for much longer and currently work in construction for 16+ years and I can recommend this tool with the greatest of confidence and ease.

If you work on your car, this tool will likely come in handy. I have been in several situations, especially auto-related, where this breaker bar would have saved me a ton of effort and time. I wish that I had had this tool when I encountered bolts that were starting to rust in position, for example when repairing both my chain-link and wooden fences.

I picked up this breaker bar to use for auto work and breaking stubborn bolts. It connected easily to all of my sockets in my set. The connection piece has like a black coating on it. I’m not sure if that is to help prevent scratched or not. The bar works great and is pretty straightforward. The one thing I would like better is if the handle area was scored or had a pattern on it to help you keep a better grip.
