The Capri Tools Ultra-Thin 620 Lumens Work Light with cutting edge COB LED technology produces incredibly bright light at 620 Lumens over 120° wide beam angle. Its 10 mm ultra-thin design lets you easily light those tough-to-light spots. It features dual array LED which produces cool white light for illumination and UV light for leak detection. Convenient rotary dimmer switch lets you freely adjust light output and turn the work light on and off. Handsfree magnetic base secures the work light to any flat steel surface in any orientation. The base also swivels 360° for maximum handsfree coverage. The work light has an internal rechargeable UL Listed LI-ion battery that gives you 3-hours of battery life at maximum brightness. It is conveniently rechargeable via MicroUSB and a MicroUSB charger is included.

Made in Taiwan, well designed and well made, this light is an excellent addition to any household or workshop. Although primarily designed for a workshop, the long duration of this hand-held light makes it ideal as an emergency light source in case of a power outage.As a shop tool, it comes with an adjustable magnetic base and a UV light option. The magnet is useful in automotive work as an adjustable work base. The UV light is used for detecting leaks in air-conditioning systems. The ultra-thin design means it can be used in very tight situations.Here are its actual performance statistics at full brightness: 100% brightness for 90 minutes, 50% brightness after 125 minutes, 25% brightness after 270 minutes, still glowing after 24 hours. Recharge time from fully discharged is 3.5 hours. The charger and USB cable are included. The unit performed flawlessly for two days in a row. Continued performance is fully expected. The ergonomic design of the handle makes it comfortable to hold.Highly recommended without reservations.

This light is VERY bright, practical and functional with some pretty cool features. First, it is VERY, VERY bright. The overall length provides a great flood light for working in a large area. Changing a tire, working under the hood of a car, in a crawl space- all well illuminated with this light. The handle includes a magnetic, swivel base that will definitely come in handy for roadside problems and there are also two hooks that can used individually or in tandem, depending on your application. The on/off switch is a rotary dial so the light is completely dimmable. Alongside the handle is a selector switch that switches from white LED to UV led lights. You can use this to detect various types of leaks (antifreeze, gas, etc) and it’s also kind of cool if you’re having a blacklight party! The whole unit is completely rechargeable with a USB port and a cord and plug are included. Good buy.

Wow what a clever redesign for a worklight!Pro: Feels hefty and solid in the hand. On/off/dimmer and cool white/UV controls easy to operate with a thumb. Magnetic base quite strong – enough to support the tool jutting out at right angle to the base. USB charger included with adequate cord length.Con: None come to mind. General: This light is a worklight – under car hoods, inside crawl spaces, attics, walls and ducts. Enough to safely light a stairway. Not quite as many lumens as a 60 watt incandescent, but the cool white light it emits is very revealing of details. Not bright enough/ wide enough for broad tasks like wall painting.Other: The light emits either cool white or UV. The packaging says that UV is for leak detection. Others may know better than I, the only thing I’ve ever used a UV light for in the past was to find pet accidents on the carpet.

There’s just no excuse now if you are still using a bulky, hot incandescent or florescent work lamp that can accidentally burn you or shatter if dropped. The Capri Tools ultra-thin rechargeable LED work light is an exceptional value for all that it does. The transparent lens gives me bright white light (daylight color), having slightly more lumens than an equivalent 40-watt incandescent bulb, with the output focused in one direction to provide a brighter work area without the glare. The other half of the light bar includes a strip of UV light emitters that is useful for tracing fluid leaks that have been treated with florescent dye. The two, 360-degree swivel hooks at each end and the adjustable angle, strong magnet bottom allows for hands-free use. Plus, there’s a smaller magnet at the opposite end of the lamp to retrieve that accidentally dropped nut, bolt or screw. Lamp brightness is adjusted by rotating the On/Off switch; a sliding switch on the side of the comfortable grip selects either the UV or LED light. Another positive is that I can recharge this work light using the plug-in charger for my smartphone in my car, thereby making this work lamp advantageous for an extended roadside repair.

Incredible product, it’s like a real-life light saber. I’m a big fan of the COB technology which has hit the market in the last few years. This thing takes it a step further by using a 9.5″ long COB strip which is SUPER, unbelievably bright. This is an awesome light to have around the house for doing work in dark places (crawl space, etc.) or working under the hood of your car -and it has a magnetic base so you can keep it in place- or whatever else. As a plus, the UV mode is good for finding remnants of pet stains in the carpet and so forth. It has a built in dimmer which is a very nice plus and a switch on the side to switch from cool white to UV mode, and a micro-USB port for charging.
