Protects our Grandbaby from licking the iron bannisters, as well as getting her extremities in between the bannisters, very well.Good purchase. Difficult to install with Zip ties, and punch holes. Looks great installed properly.

We bought this item because our overly-adventurous kitten kept hanging off our 12-foot balcony. It’s perfect – helps keeps our kitten safe and being clear isn’t very visible from downstairs. Per one of the comments posted for this item, we looped it through the banister rather than use the provided ties.

The plastic barrier worked exactly as I needed it to. The package also came with zip ties and a hole punch to help the consumer install it. The hole punch was awful. But since the main reason for buying the product was for the plastic guard, I still feel it was a worthy purchase.
