This was my first hard hard drive case after trying to find something a bit more rugged than previous soft material cases. I like that it holds its shape well and can take a bit of banging/rolling around, not that Im planning on playing frisbee on the beach with it. It protects my external back-up drive and Ill continue to purchase them for my future drives/devices.

Like all Case Logic products I’ve used, this is well designed and executed, especially for the price. I got it for my Samsung T7 SSD, and it is unfortunately a bit too big for the tiny hard drive. The elastic band inside holds it, but the SSD still rattles around quite a bit. Check your hard drive dimensions first, but if it fits it’ll be a great little case.

bought this for the 2tb WD drive, fits great, good protection, the drive fits neatly on one side leaving plenty of room for the drives sync cord behind the webbing on the other. Size is perfect for the WD product. A little smaller than another I bought several years ago for a slightly larger 1tb WD drive.

I am using this case to store my WD 2TB My Passport External Hard Drive. The cover is semi rigid which provides some protection against accidentally banging the hard drive, although I would not want to drop the hard drive. It also provides a separate area for storing the USB cable which comes with the hard dive. Very convenient.
