This was the exact right size for laying over my stovetop and gaining more work space. You should realize that at an inch or more thick, it’s very heavy (good because it doesn’t slide) it is awkward to take off and put aside as you use the burners. The main reason for only four stars is that the surface of the wood was still quite rough. It could have used a lot more sanding and finishing. I may end up doing this refinishing myself because not only is it bothering me as I use the cutting board, but it also catches a lot more dust and other things I don’t want mixed in with my veggies or meat.

I love it

Excellent quality. Good construction but a little on the heavy side compared to like a bamboo board because of the types of hardwoods they use. This should last a long time with care

There are so many cheap versions of this type of board that I was hesitant to order this one, but I should not have worried. The wood is good quality, and the workmanship appears to be excellent. 5 stars all the way. I will be ordering a second one soon.

I used it as a countertop and I love it!

Great Quality … be sure to buy some cutting board oil to prepare the board.

I love it very happy with it. The only negative is that it started to warp. I did treat it with mineral oil before using it, and have been maintaining it.That is disappointing.

The size and quality are perfect for our kitchen cart project. Recieved the cutting board in perfect condition. Once we oiled it up it really shows the beauty of the grain. We spent a grand total of $160 dollars to build a $600+ cart with under storage and utility drawer!

Absolutely awesome. Heavy duty. Installed it with drawer slides under the counter top as a bread cutting board, installed groove side down, which makes a perfect finger pull.

needed a board for my bbq set up, saw catskills craftsmanship on a board i got for a cart i made for sis. with this 20 by 30 board i can trim 4 racks of ribs at the same time. when in use it sets on my bbq table between my two 22.5 weber kettles. if you question the cost, go on line and price hardwood to make one. i don’t mean to go on about a cutting board, but at 71, i have had a lot of boards but these catskill boards are a cut above all the rest.

Nicely made and beautiful finish, but very heavy.

It was beautiful, but it needed a lot of sanding to get rid of the burrs. I also put BOOS oil on it so it wouldn’t dry out. I would buy again.

It’s ok personally I don’t think it’s worth the price.

The wood and it is really nice and after you boil it it just brings it up to such a pretty color and the texture is just wonderful

Rough board, needs further sanding. It’s not rough enough to give me splinters, but I had to give it a once over with a 400 grit sandpaper.
